1,243,845 Views - Youtube Video 2005 // "A Current Affair" 1989 with Phil Keegan on Guitar is Greenhouse Effect Music at it's very best. This complex song was arranged by Drummer / Lead Vocalist Clark Haggans in 5/16 time. Long before this three piece band became the household word of the web with pop Rock Emo standards like 1991's "Brandy", they were a more complicated "Blues" grunge rock garage band led upfront by Keegan. "I grew up listening to Captain Beyond, Bubble Puppy, and "Court of the Crimson King" type King Crimson" Says Clark Higgins in January 2005. "Thats where the bizarre arrangement for "A Current" comes from." // Greenhouse Effect's Trio music has spread far through out the internet and they have achieved some of the biggest plays as of yet at their Youtube Site www.Youtube.com/GreenhouseEffect182 where Haggins has some 14 New Videos up. "People out there - all over the world - can plainly hear that we are an unusual band with a strange unique sound" Says Haggans. Bassist Rick Carmody quit the band in 1992 to Join a Redondo Beach Punk Rock outfit called "The One Handed Readers" leaving Haggans and Drummer Palle Karllson of Denmark as the band's final two members before officially calling it quits in November 1992 where Haggans went to work Trademarking the band's name and focusing on the "Fountain" Compilation Greenhouse Effect cd later to be issued at mp3.Com. Jeff Snowe of Rock City Productions managed the band for much of their career from Boston Massachusetts but saw the bands demise quickly unfold in the early 90's along with the Seattle explosion of Grunge and indie rock; "Its a shame.....Clark Haggans had amazing musical talent,....to see a band this incredible just disappear is a Tragedy" says Snowe in the 2000's. Clark Haggans took up mowing Lawns (Landscaping) and Cleaning Swimming Pools in the early and mid 1990's and has never played music again - though marketing G.e. has become a full time job for him and Snowe in the 2000's; "I've come back to the music business because I feel that people "have' to know about G.e. and or atleast learn about Great People like Jeff Snowe and Rock Music Studio engineer Bill Krodel" Says Higgins. "A Current Affair" stands as Great early music from G.e's early phase with Keegan; "Phil Keegan is a soul brother of mine forever,.....He is Rock's Greatest Guitarist period ,...Millions of People watch him on the net and he gets the respect for G.e. ,....I don't care what he thinks of me today - I love him as a brother..." Says Higgins. ROCK CITY PROMOTIONS BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS. // KEEGAN'S early work of "Fuzz Guitar Rock" or Psychedelic acid "Stoner" type Grunge Rock has put a permanent stamp on the History of indie and radio friendly rock music. The Legendary and revolutionary Guitarists' work cannot be stated enough. Haggins; "Without Phil Keegan ,..and songs like "Precarious" and "Number One" and "Think About it",....there wouldn't be a Seattle,..... There wouldn't be a Nirvana or a Pearl Jam,.... they would 'NEVER' have been taken seriously to get signed in the first place at all ,... Eddie Vedder would be cleaning Swimming Pools or washing windows with a pole ,... and 'THATS' really the way it 'should be' in a proper universe." says a bitter Haggans. SuperNetCelebrityCom ;
