"We hit the web hard back about 2000 and 2001 " Says Clark Higgins. "A buddy of mine, this Great Bassist Dave Basen was tellin' me about the power of the Net and a website called Mp3.Com and we began uploading some of my tracks - I remember way back then that it took like nearly 2 hours just to upload like ONE SONG !!,....Man, it was upsurd ridiculous,....but that was the technology of the time." - Today, "Search And Destroy" along with "Brandy" have become big Tracks of the web for Higgins and G.e. and many sites that pay to run commercials with music videos have become "a way of life and income" for the cyberspace active Haggins; "People don't understand that we video makers make money at this,....Some people can make alot a' cash,.....I'm really not one of those though I have had a couple of pretty big paydays in my time,....I'm not getting rich here,....though there are some annoying people that think that I am - and they're always askin' me if they can borrow money ,... Sometimes, I will send people some money ,..but these days, those are the exceptions - not the rule !!!!" // Haggans also fields alot of email from other bands who seek to be "Like" G.e. ,...and get their music heard on the same kind of massive scale; "I tell them to start a Pandora or Jango Radio account and pay the thirty bucks,... they're likely to get heard there and heard well ,...Are they gonna get as big on the web as G.e. ?? I doubt that seriously,... but there are bands on here way bigger than me like Airbourne,.... those guys get massive plays on the web,.... And I'm NOT talkin' about Youtube ,...all bands virtually know now that Youtube can simply be a waste of your time - They're too busy promoting Ga Ga and Bieber with phoney fake video hits,...and silly home-made videos,....if you wanna get seen seriously on the web,...and get popular, ..yer gonna need to learn things about Banner exchange site - some that are free especially,.... and learn about the language of Google Adwords and Jumpfly. ....places like those." // Haggans' song "Brandy" is one of the biggest tunes in cyberspace and one of the most watched video tracks ever to come out of Los Angeles California; "We hit a tremendous Goldmine with "Brandy",....but alotta' people think G.e. is annoying and Lame,...they say we only have one hit and that they're sick and tired of all of our songs and videos,...but they don't understand ,...we make money here ,...We find new fans everyday ,...theres always constantly a new avenue of income for G.e. .... to make the people sick and tired of you and beat them down mentally is actually a huge hard fought goal !!" In the "South bay" area of Redondo beach and Torrance Calif., its either feast or famine for G.e. as Haggans sees both extreme lovers and haters of his band; "All I know is we have sold alot of music in the South bay and Orange County and San Diego" says Higgins. "I was down at the beach visiting there checking out the sunset, jus' hangin' out and some dude was in my face goin' "You guys suck,....You only have one good song ,..and the rest of yer shit sucks,... Yer milking one good song...." Haggans feels that G.e. have many good songs beyond just "Brandy"; "We have the 'White Black Song' too and EVERYBODY knows that track is tight man,....We got other good shit,....we're the band that does "Ben is Dead" and "Star" ...We have to be good !!"
