Clark Hagins and the Greenhouse Effect have been blasting Surfing Videos on the web since 1997 and Greenhouse Effect's music has always gone EXTREMELY PERFECT well with surfing better than any other band; "People think that I surf but the truth is that I don't even know how to swim barely,..(Laughs)" Says Haggins "I have never touched a surfboard in my life ,...there's too much pollution and mercury out there in the water (Laughs)" The Greenhouse Effect Song Brandy is featured with Kelly Slater and Clay Marzo Surfing Video clips and Haggins also has made videos for personal friends who are surfers such as "Jimmyforce" aka Metal Jimmy, a Lost Team Rider from Costa Mesa Ca who is Legendary for Surfing and Partying in Southern California; "My good pal jimmy is a raging alcoholic and surfer,..he reminds me of myself when i used to drink ,..he is funny and witty when he has a few" Says Higgins. Clark Hagins' advertising of course is all over the web where his Google box ads attract hits and even more web traffic for "Brandy" and the king of Cyberspace sees no end in sight; "Greenhouse Effect are the kings of the internet,..we're fun to watch and we're lovable funny guys who people enjoy embedding to their sites,...Everybody wants a G.e. video - people love us and we've made the net fun again" Says Haggins. The Redondo Beach California band certainly can keep your attention with hit songs like "It Ain't Easy" and their Legendary live footage at the tiny Hermosa Saloon in Hermosa Beach Ca which clearly demonstrates the 'ahead of it's time' guitar genius of Haggins and Drummer Greg Tarpley from early 1991; "We're the real Nirvana ,...we started it all,...People can see it now,...Everybody can clearly see it" Says Hagins. Hagins, who is a remarkable and unique lead singer and guitarist spent years perfecting his craft of grunge rock in 1985 at his home studio at 251 Paseo De Gracia in Redondo Beach, dreaming of the big time,..but struggling against the Los Angeles Dominant heavy metal Scene of the Suncet Strip and bands like Guns n Roses; "I hated metal,...I was so into punk rock, Greg Ginn, and Sst Records in Lawndale,..its all i was into" Says Haggins. Haggins began mailing his ideas into Geffen Records and A & R man Gary Gersh as early as 1987 and 88' and got little or negative response; "A lotta people don't understand our band at all ,.. but we are very solitary genius ,..we have few friends,..we make the trends ,..we set the Agenda ,./.Greenhouse Effect does EVERYTHING" Says the guitarist today in 2011. Surfer Videos propel G.e. to new heights on the web and the World's Most Watched band never backs down or shies away from controversy as Haggins is a Proud "Tea Partier" and runs a hateful Rightwing Blog called "The RightWing Wacko.net"; "I just think it's great that a republican musician is the biggest thing on the internet in the World and it helps us win all the elections now,..i just think it's wonderful that a conservative has the biggest audience - I am the Number One thing and it gets my art out there to the masses ,..to get my music to the people is priority #1",..i just wrote a piece about Rick Perry who i hope to see as our next President" Says Haggins.
