332,946 Views - Millions of Views on Youtube have solidified Web Whores Greenhouse Effect as one of rock's all time most viewed bands. "But our Youtube account was deleted (Laughs)" Says Clark Haggins in 2010. "That was a bummer 'cause just about ALL of our webtraffic is real and natural and a lot of people are accused of being spammers or using internet Bots but I have never done that,...I will admit that back in 2005, 2006 and 2007, I used a Company called Iweb.Marketing and another Company later on called Revisitors out of San Francisco ,... these kind of Companies can really get you a lot of web traffic but I wouldn't recommend them - or some of these others - at Youtube,... Your account will get banned and you may get deleted or suspended ,... the People at Youtube obviously think that I was amongst those who do those kind of shananigans and they assume that we must - being that we get all that traffic and all those hits ,..but unfortunately for me,..it wasn't the case." Before they were deleted at Youtube, 'Brandy' and the 'White Black Song' had built up some of Youtube's most staggering 'early years' video play; "We really helped establish both Youtube and Myspace,...I would like to think that,..and get some credit" Says Higgins. Now that 'Brandy" has gotten severely established in cyberspace, it has become a favorite 'embed' by Marketers and Mlm businesses all over the Net ,....virtually guaranteeing Haggins of endless massive airplay forever on the web ; "Brandy and some of our other songs just grow and grow forever on the net,.... long after I am gone, they will be watching G.e. and me forever.." says Haggins. Endless people at places like Tubemogul and Magnify.Net 'use' Greenhouse Effect Music to get themselves web hits, ofcourse knowing of Haggins own designs using places like i-Web established long before.; "They use my videos and they use me and my life,..I'm interesting" Says Haggins with a Laugh "I am a creator,.... I feel that I can make 'anybody' A Star,...its like my own reality Tv that runs on forever,....I believe that everybody has Personality and individuality ,.... I can take any boring mundane person off the streets ,...put some powder on (Or in,..) their nose,... and make them 'interesting'" Says Haggins "Hey,..if I can do it with me and my band,...I could do it with anybody !! (Laughs)" - So many People watch Haggins and his band daily that Haggins email inboxes are deluged with spam and requests from unknown bands; "I'm well known ,....but I am nowhere too really ,..until you score big deals in something on Tv or real radio the way that Tila Tequila and Perez Hilton have ,...to a lot of people, you're still just a big nobody ,...and thats what a lot of people say exactly about me ,...I haven't made a lot of money online - I've done just ok ,...until you make a lot of money or get offered main-stage show sets,... yer still just a band being offered the parking lots and side stages ,..and thats just the way it is ,..those are the facts,.... We were offered Coachella but it was all on their terms - not ours ,... thats when you know - in reality - you're still small,..in the real media..." Haggins cleans swimming pools in San Diego's "North County" area and says he isn't holding his breath for his big break; "To get one song in one movie would be enough for me ,...I fully understand that the music industry is just a buncha D-Bags and all they do is Promote shit thats the same old crap over and over ,...they should try something new ,...they should play our songs on the radio - they might Learn something new" Says Higgins "Maybe boring rap music and crap like Foo Fighters and Nickelback ain't always the way to go forever,.." 435,022 Views - Youtube Video 2007 - No Takers. This Track was recorded in June of 1992 in a session that also included "People....that Won't back Down', Search And Destroy, and "The Ballad Of Kurt Cobain" - "That recording session took about maybe two blocks of four hours a piece and money was tight,...I had to get it all done quickly and for under 100 or so bucks" (Laughs)" Says Clark Haggans. In a much different time, G.e. was suddenly basically reduced to a "One Piece band' down from their usual three people as Clark Haggins was carefully concentrating and trying to achieve 'studio perfection' and ofcourse improvements over recently recorded works; "There was no Rick Carmody at any of these recording sessions in the summer of 1992,..fact is, it wasn't a band anymore at all,..it was a solo project,.,.and now today all over the web ,..these songs just sound fucking killer now today ,..as they did way back then,... theres bands on major labels right now pouring 2 million dollars into their recordings in Digital 48 track studios n shit,...and the end result is a hunk of shit that sounds like Maroon Five or Death Cab or Modest Mouse,...all those bands suck ,..and all their weak ass shit music just sounds the same " Says Haggins "I recorded my shit for 40 bucks and it's better - way better,..and I even get more plays and web interest than they do (Laughs)" This recording session was also the first time a G.e. Project had been recorded in quite a while as the most recent session that included "Brandy" was late 1991 and into January Feb 92'; "But that was just for mixing" Says Haggins "When I walked into the studio in June 92', I hadn't recorded shit in like 6 months !!" Bill Krodel ran the console as Haggins laid down simple but powerful drum tracks and then added guitars,..returning days later to add his own played bass lines and then finally the lead vocals. The lyrics that Haggins brought in that day certainly seemed to reflect Haggins anger at life; being rejected by people, being rejected by record labels, etc,....all sang in an angsty David Bowie-inspired lead vocal style that seemed to flow perfectly with the instrumental tracks. "No Takers" is one of my greatest songs,..its right there with "Brandy",..maybe its better than "White Black" I donno,.....I don't know if its as good as the "Going Legit" shit,...but it's damn good !!" Says Haggins. About a month after "Takers" would ofcourse come "Addicted" and Misogynistia (Shes A Bitch.....And then you Live) as Haggins worked on some new ideas that seemed to go with his "Rock Opera' themes. "I just kept getting better and better,....but unfortunately, soon,..it all would end,....'going into late in that year (1992) ,..I was just out of money and sick of it all,..record labels were rejecting all of my material and signing bullshit bands instead,...it was just over,..plus Ted was in the One Handed Readers, Flipper had moved to San Jose,... everybody was gone,...there was just me alone left ,...it was over,..and I had recorded the gamut ,...I had done every kind of song and could impress nobody back then ,...it was time to quit." In Late 1992, the band reassembled for one final "Video Session" as Haggins, Drummer Palle Carlson, and Bassist Rick Carmody filmed clips that would later become internet classics in hilarity but also in sheer numbers of views, particularly for the one that was "White Black Song" - "It was Great to get all those Songs up on the web atlast,..for people to finally see G.e. - A Great band that never got their chance,...We were a Great band ,..its very unfortunate what happened to us,....our songs were too important and they reflected a hard life I lived" Says Haggins - Rock City Entertainment - Boston Massachusetts.

992,304 Views - Youtube Video 2005 - "The Old Videos by Greenhouse stand very strong even today and as a reminder of how big we were Long ago and still are today" Says Clark Haggans in 2011 from San Diego For Rock City Boston; "We're still the number one band,... we knock out real big bands aside like Blink 182 and Green Day,.... the fact is,..people would rather watch us,..we're just still more interesting ,..and I'm 46 years old and I don't give a shit anymore !!" 'Addicted' is the Song that greets listeners on Haggans' 1995 "Fountain" CD,..the big Red Cd with the blue Label that fans around the South Bay and Los Angeles nick name as "The Blue Album" - "That album was thought of as such a failure in it's day,..but it has grown in stature over the years" Says Haggans "The Blue album has made me and my band so well known and it's so weird and funny because it doesn't say 'Greenhouse Effect' anywhere on it ,..nowhere does it say "G.e." (Laughs),...but it indeed ,..is the ultimate G.e. album" Ofcourse "Fountain" would come out in October 1994 about 'a year' before the emergence of "The Rock Opera - White Suburban Liars" ,..an album with 16 songs that was originally a "Double Cd" or as Haggans calls it "Ala The Kinks Preservation Act 2" - "People know our music is real good and real catchy,..we are wiping out Rap music,...We are wiping out everything ,..bands have to tour like crazy and try to record new songs - to keep up with G.e. ,..but the fact is, a lot of bands just suck ,..their music is Lame and has no soul or feeling and it just all sounds the same in 2011 and 2010 ,..a lot of it is just because People are so empty now today ,...if somebody voted for Barack Obama,..its a sure bet that they are probably an empty person - a fucking Douchebag,..whos never really heard an old David Bowie or Kinks album in their life and liked it,..and fuck Lady Ga Ga,... how dare she say shes into Bowie ,..shes a little fucking know nothing jerk - she couldn't know about Bowie - she was born in 1986 for Gods Sake - fuck her !!" - "Addicted' comes out of your speakers nicely and it displays some of the early life of Haggins as it narrates well for the Worlds Most Watched internet band just as "Misogynistia" ( Shes A bitch....And then You Live) explodes as the opening song on the "Rock Opera White Suburban Liars". Haggins still angers at Youtube who cancelled his video for "Addicted" in 2009; "The thing about Youtube,..a lot of people are finding out the truth about Youtube ,..that it is just all phoney and Pay-ola,... People know that you have to pay big money to get your videos played there and I won't do that and whats even worse,..Youtube will intentionally try to "inhibit" your plays there ,..if you don't play ball with them and sign up with one of their companys out there,..THAT is really wrong ,...A cowardly Company that deletes your videos over nothing - for NO REASON ,....FUCK YOUTUBE !,....they Promote Lame music ,..what, they fucking Promote Lady Ga Ga and Bieber so you'l like them ?? Fuck,..they suck !!" - Haggins says that growing up listening to David Bowie albums from the time he was 9 years old in 1974 really pays off; "Yeah ,..I was into Bowie ,..I doubt that Lady Ga Ga has ever heard 'Can't help thinkin' about Me' or "Maid of Bond Street' or "Kooks" or "IN the heat of the morning',..... ask her if shes fucking heard any of those,..that fucking cunt !!" 2,752,235 Views - Youtube Video - Greenhouse Effect Have been One of the Most Smashing Success Stories Of the internet and the Redondo Beach California three piece continues to wow World Wide audiences year after year with Massive Web Traffic for their Hit Song "America The Beautiful". "We Don't sound anything Like 'any' other band in the World and that is our simple secret ,....when People sit there and crank up any one of our songs LOUD on their computer ,....they are just left admitting that we are fucking killer !!" Says Clark Haggins in 2008. And if you Love Rush, David Bowie, The Who, and the Beatles, G.e. is quite likely to quickly become one of your favorite bands online as "America The beautiful" is as spell-binding as a "Prog-Rock" Masterpiece Song can get; Equal Parts the Who, Rush, and Captain Beyond,...this track makes a mockery of other bands and especially "Major Label" acts that Haggans just Laughs at; "A Lot of the People making music online are just empty football jocks with guitars or these Douchebags covered in Tattoos who have never been told 'no',...thats why music sucks now,.... You gotta have real passion to make music,... you have to have suffered rejection,.... You gotta know who Harry Nilsson is,.... You gotta know about Ray Davies and the Kinks and the Village Green,.... You gotta know about Captain beyond,... You gotta know about "Funhouse" by the Stooges - and not just 'that first album',...you gotta know all this shit ,..and you had to live back in the 80's ,... or you don't know shit about rock n roll and what it is,... And it's gonna show too !! A lotta bands music all sounds the same ,.. I don't care about how many arenas that Foo Fighters and Green Day play to,...when in all actuality and reality ,..their music simply sucks and it all just sounds the same or sounds about like Nickelback - Our music doesn't all sound the same ,..it is very diverse ,... infact, ..most of the time, ya can't even tell that it's us,.. 'thats' the mark of a great band,... thats what makes Greenhouse Effect music so great !! Thats why so many people watch us - and love us - online,... We have Like 30 Songs that could be Top Ten hits at Billboard,...'thats why' we're the World's Most watched rock band !!" Haggans explains that G.e. doesn't just write good songs or great songs but they also write top 40 Hits as best as anybody ,.as best as the best of em'. "We're a Great band because we're unique and we don't just sound exactly like David Bowie ,...thats just what people in the South bay say,...We're way more than just that !!,....we're an original sounding band - maybe 'the most' Original !!" HAGGINS says he often 'confronts' G.e. doubters in person and he 'dares them' to crank up some G.e. on their computer with a Laugh; "They know they're gonna fucking get rocked and have to eat shit" Says Haggins. Greenhouse Effect Music Videos wipe out the traffic of most bands online and Haggans says that other than Youtube, few people will dare to doubt the mighty G.e. by saying something negative in a comment writing or reviewe ; "I have, unfortunately, Lots of enemies back in the South Bay who write mean and unfair things directed at me personally and sometimes at G.e. but I never say anything bad to anyone else first ,...'they' come after me" Says Haggans "Thats when i get pissed and I might write some mean shit back at them,...many of them don't even know me personally ,..they've just heard mean and unfair shit maybe from my family or someone connected to it,... but I rarely will put any one down first" Says Haggins "I'm not a jerk like that.." Haggins says that a guy with talent like he has 'shouldn't' be treated the way he has been; "My community obviously doesn't have much vision - they are content to just smoke pot and play the same old punk rock / blues and put others down and make fun of people but I am not like that,..I wanna rock the whole World and I DO !!" Says Haggans "I ain't got time for People who judge people like that,...I just say ya gotta get into the music, give it a chance, and you will see,.." Haggans uses Google Adwords as well as Myspace and Facebook Ads to get even more traffic and interest for G.e. which blasts straight back into his itunes; "Awe,...Like they would say in Austin Powers,..its a vicious circle" Says Haggans.- ROCK CITY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT - BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS. 2007.
